I ended up going for a style similar to a children’s book I wanted to make something that was drawn in a simplistic fun way , but showd horrible things happening.

Here is  one of my favorite pages I did from the class.

I wil have to reach out to my friends to come and visit and hopefully make sure I don’t die of starvation or something like that.

Let me be more clear. I was trolling through new indie movies on Netflix and I happened upon the movie Craigslist Joe. I streamed it and it made me think that maybe there was something to meeting someone on Craigslist. I posted an ad and about an hour later I got a response from a woman named Candice.

Now we may not exactly be a love connection but we are definitely going to be good friends. Point is, we made a bet on the date and I won, so the results ca ve found in this episode of my podcast, Utopiduh.

This year, they decided to invite a crapload of comedians to perform two minutes of standup themed around Keith and The Girl.  Performers included Myq Kaplan, Ben Lerman, and Myka Fox to name a few.

When we arrived we were told that 1. The order would be random and 2. we each would be performing for 2 minutes, and there would be no time indicator. Both were daunting to me BUT I must admit that the show was a good time and I am had a compete blast.

Point of note.  I opened with a joke where I said that “a guy giving another guy is a blowjob is pretty gay.” and late Myq Kaplan siad that “Yes Victor, a guy giving a guy a blowjob IS pretty gay.” Made me laugh.

About a year ago, I was asking many people I met to try and stick a phone in their nose while I took a picture.  I forgot and then found all the pictures on my phone.  I finally did something with them.  Enjoy.

When I am at a gathering where I don’t Know everyone very well I tend to strike up conversations with couples. I think this is a great idea for two reasons.  1. The woman doesn’t feel threatened. 2. You are not ruining the guy’s “game”. and 3. Couples really want t talk to somebody else.

It wasn’t long before we were in a conversation about how when women with augmented breasts don’t get “touch-ups” enough, sometimes their breast will explode on a plane flight. (No I am not going to explain how we got there.)

Shortly after the conversations took a weird turn.

ME: Really wow! I guess that is why pregnant women can’t fly.

HER: No, I think it is mostly because of the radiation.

ME: Whatchoo talking about?

HER: There’s radiation on planes all the time. My sister is a a stewardess and they have to take breaks so they don’t get so much radiation.

ME:Um… that can;t be right.

HER: It IS right.

MEL You really believe that?

HER: Yes, I said it didn’t I?

ME: I’m going to have to go and look that up.

HER: Do it!

So I did.  I went on the internet and tried to figure out exactly how this woman was either lying or misinterpreting the facts. If there was radiation on plane that affected the crew enough that they had to take breaks from flying, don’t you think it would be more well known as a hazard of an airline job?

I do.

Anyway, i looked it up and I owe that woman an apologu for basically calling her a lia to her face.

Tell Your Friends! is a concert film and documentary with performances from som eof the best acts today in the “alt” comedy scene like, Christian finnegan, Liam McEneaney, Kristen Schaal, Kurt Braunohoer, Leo Allen, Rob Paravonian, and Reggie Watts!

This is actually the first feature released that I directed that was not my own idea. I usually work on things that I conceive of, but one day Liam McEneaney cam e over to me and has this great idea about showcasing the NYC comedy scene but then he said, “Me am dumb abou t cameras things and I gotta poop.” I took that to mean that he wanted me to produce and direct the feature for him. He’s a very smart guy contrary to his speech pattern and it was fun working with him to help his cision come true.

Some of my favorite moments on set with the cast are when Leo Allen ate like sixteen goldfish and Kristen Schaal was like, “Am he gonna fishy fart?” and Rob Paravonian came over and hit her with a guitar.

Of course this started a ruckus so Christian Finnegan ran up to Reggie Watts screaming, “Share your blackness!” and Reggie was like, “Not now, I am teaching my cat how to DJ.” At the time Kurt was either not there or invisible.

The whole thing was of course settled when Liam showed up with donuts.

Filmmaking is fun.
